Alumni

We are extremely proud of our Alumni Aaron Putz who is excelling at swimming. One of the highlights of his career so far was in Mexico in 2017 where he represented South Africa in the INAS (International Federation for Athletes with Intellectual Impairments ) Swimming Championships. He won 7 medals! His next goal is the Paralympics in 2020.  The Browns’ School will be amongst his greatest fans and supporters. We follow his career with eager anticipation.  
In this photograph Aaron has just won the gold medal in the 200 m backstroke at the INAS Swimming Championships. Well done Aaron! We salute you!
He won the Sports Personality of the Year Award. Aaron is autistic and his success is testimony to his motto ” I can and I will!” His life and achievements are an inspiration to all. 

Nicole Stephens did the East Coast Radio Big Walk in support of children with Autism.  Well done, Nicole for the personal achievement and for your support and consideration for others.

Susan Harmse, a former Browns’ pupil, has graduated with a law degree. Congratulations Susan! We are so proud of you.

We are extremely proud of our former learner Ian Robinson who completed his 9th Midmar Mile and is now the assistant coach for our team!

Many of our past and present learners tackled the Midmar Mile again this year. We thank our coach Mrs Visagie who dedicated her time and energy to train the 18 learners who participated………………………. and 11 parents joined the Browns’ family this year to complete another successful swim and camp.

 

We are very proud of one of our alumni. Courtney Riggs appeared in the Highway Mail for being Spars’ star of the month. Well done, Courtney!
